Users & Functionality

The following user types are included with the template:

Standard users can do the following:
- Sign up for a user account with first name, last name, email, and password
- Reset their password
- Visit a public homepage, where they can:
  - View posts from other users
  - Reply to and upvote posts
  - Initiate the post creation process
  - As a post author or app admin, they can:
    Edit or delete the post
- View a post's details page, where they can (in addition to the above):
  - See the entirety of the post's content
  - View post comments and comment replies
    Upvote and reply to comments
    As a comment author or app admin, they can:
    Edit or delete the comment
- Create a new post with a title, text, and image, as well as:
  - Modify an existing post
  - Automatically maintain an edit history in the database for reference purposes
- View a user's profile page, where they can:
  - View basic information about that user
  - See all posts and comments made by that user, with the ability to upvote or navigate directly to the relevant post's details page
  - Initiate a message thread with the user
- Message other users through a robust messenger interface
- Access a settings page, where they can:
  - Manage profile information and a profile picture
  - Update all of their account information and credentials
Owner users can do the following:
- See basic analytics for their application, which include signups, total users, and active users
- Update the homepage content blocks without the Bubble editor
  - Create content blocks with different formats such as featured items, testimonials, or contact form
- Update the application's settings, which include name, logos, contact email, OG content, social media icons, privacy/terms, and more
- See the list of their application's users
  - Deactivate users, send password reset requests, and download user data
  - Invite more Owner users to the application
