The homepage serves as a landing page for your application. The homepage consists primarily of a set of homepage block entries, such as a slideshow or simple contact form.
Your app will generally have three types of homepages:
Our standard dynamic homepage (this page) - if you want to use our homepage creator to create and manage your homepage through Bubble
A simple page (like ) - if you want to have the landing page hosted elsewhere (like Wix, Squarespace, Landen, etc.)
Another page - sometimes you won't want to have a "home" page at all, instead you might want to people inside of your tool
If you're opting for #1 (the default), you will leverage our custom homepage maker, which includes a call-to-action and the ability to add any number of “blocks” with information like:
For apps that are linked to from another homepage that the you manage separately (e.g., using Squarespace), you can go with a simple home page with the signup/login reusable on it (e.g., you can use the login page or loginsimple page in the template).
There are two redirect rules on the index page:
When user is logged in and Current user's Owner? is "no" and Get stay from page url is not "yes" --> Go to page dashboard
When user is logged in and Current user's Owner? is "yes" and Get stay from page url is not "yes" --> Go to page owne
This means that if the user is an Owner user and they're not intending to visit the homepage they should be taken to the Owner's Portal
Sends the user to the search page with a parameter - q - which contains a keyword or phrase inputted by the user

You can set most of the content through the Owner’s Portal, but you will have to define the main action button in the top section via the Bubble Editor. For more instructions on how to set up your home page, please read our .
On other pages (like ) the app will redirect the user to the index page whenever they log-in, so that they can be redirected to an appropriate page afterwards. Think of this page as a traffic cop - when your users log in or log out, they pass through it to be directed to the right page.
