Welcome to the Canvas template reference document!

Introduction

This template is built by AirDev, a leading Bubble development firm and is based on AirDev's experience through hundreds of client engagements with clients that range from startups to large enterprises. It includes basic functionality required by most application tools - ability to invite users with varying permissions, create and manage jobs and dynamic application forms, submit an application, and more.

The template is fully extendable through the Canvas Portal, which allows quickly adding fully-responsive pages to the application as well as connecting with AirDev's network of Bubble experts who are trained in the Canvas methodology and who can help change or add features in your application.

This document serves as a reference for the template. It is complemented by our Bubble Development Guide, which talks about best practices when it comes to Bubble development.

AirDev Canvas Walkthrough

How to quickly test the app

1. Log in using one of the existing admin or manager accounts (or create a new one through the Bubble editor)

2. Visit the dashboard, navigate to the “Forms” tab and create a new job application form
3. On the form creation page, add several different types of questions, including one with the type “Multiple choice” or “Checkboxes”
4. From the dashboard, create a new job and assign the previously create application form
5. Log out of the account (or open a new browser) and navigate to application’s homepage

6. Click to view a job’s details page and submit an application
7. Return to your admin or manager account, navigate to the “Applicants” tab on the dashboard, and click to view a submitted application
8. Try viewing the discussion thread for that applicant and a new note with an attachment

9. Explore your personal settings page, where you can manage account information and credentials
